GETUP-UAW Local 5124 Steward Election Nomination Results

The nomination period for the GETUP-UAW Local 5124 election for Stewards and Lead Stewards is closed as of 11:59pm on Tuesday, June 9. We are pleased to announce that 33 candidates accepted nominations.

Positions to be elected include:

• Biomedical Graduate Studies: 12 Stewards including 2 Lead Stewards
• School of Engineering and Applied Sciences: 5 Stewards including 2 Lead Stewards
• School of Arts and Sciences—Lab Sciences: 5 Stewards including 2 Lead Stewards
• School of Arts and Sciences—Humanities, Social Sciences, and Mathematics: 6 Stewards including 2 Lead Stewards
• Professional Schools and Annenberg School of Communication: 5 Stewards including 2 Lead Stewards

Exactly 33 eligible candidates accepted their nomination. Therefore, each candidate has been elected to the Steward and Lead Steward roles by acclamation and we will not be holding an election. The following Graduate Workers have been elected:
